Hi, I’m Dr. Matt Dalton—I’m a husband, father, and someone who’s been given a second chance at life.

My journey into wellness began in the most unexpected and humbling way: a near-death experience that left me questioning everything I thought I knew about health. On December 10th, my wife found me unconscious, my life hanging by a thread. Despite countless tests and weeks of recovery, the medical system couldn’t give me clear answers. That experience was the wake-up call that set me on a mission—not just to survive, but to thrive.

For years, I believed I was healthy. I exercised, ate relatively well, and kept an active lifestyle. But what I learned through my struggles is that wellness is more than the absence of symptoms. It’s about addressing the root causes of our health challenges, finding balance in every area of life, and cultivating true contentment in a world that often leaves us overwhelmed and unfulfilled.

As a chiropractor, I’ve always been passionate about helping others feel better. But now, my focus has expanded beyond physical health to include all aspects of wellness. I started this blog to share my journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and the tools that have helped me navigate my own challenges.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe in the power of honesty, vulnerability, and community. My goal is to help others discover what wellness looks like for them and to inspire a shift toward healthier, more intentional living.

When I’m not writing or working with patients, you’ll find me spending time with my amazing wife and kids, playing games or spending time outside, or reflecting on how to make the most of the time I’ve been given.

Thank you for being here. Whether you’re looking for practical tips, encouragement, or simply a place to feel understood, I hope you’ll find value in the words I share. Let’s take this journey toward wellness together—one step, one story, and one moment of gratitude at a time.
